What will you be doing at MBRF?

  • Support tax compliance and tax accounting activities across entities within the Sadia Halal structure.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate the submission of Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Zakat, VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and other applicable tax filings across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage tax refund and tax credit offset processes, ensuring timely follow-up and compliance with local regulations.
  • Support monthly and year-end tax accounting activities, including tax provisions, liabilities, deferred tax assets, and reconciliations of tax-related general ledger accounts.
  • Partner closely with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure the accuracy of tax reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and coordinating required information.
  • Assist with tax inspections, tax authority requests, and tax litigation matters as required.
  • Monitor tax regulations and legislative developments across the GCC, assessing potential impacts and identifying tax-saving opportunities.
  • Provide tax-related guidance and support to internal stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Support tax department budgeting, invoice processing, and other administrative activities.
  • Comply with MBRF Sustainability Policy guidelines, ensure adherence to BRF Sustainability Plan through activities in its routines that promotes compliance with the indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the Company, ensuring the connection between its actions and sustainable development in the BRF chain.

What kind of profile are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree in Tax, Finance, or Accounting is considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic, written and spoken.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a tax function within a multinational company, consulting firm, or advisory environment.
  • Strong understanding of GCC tax regulations, including Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and Withholding Tax.
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles, financial statements, and tax reporting requirements.
  • Experience with tax authorities' portals and ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
  • Exposure to international tax structures, tax treaties, tax risk management, or transfer pricing concepts is a plus.
