What will you be doing at MBRF?

  • Manage day-to-day occupational health and ambulatory operations, including equipment, tools, internal/external medical examinations, schedules and budget-related activities; provide first aid and support employees requiring medical assistance
  • Coordinate hospitalization cases and follow employees’ health progress, while supervising outsourced nurses and contractors to ensure services meet required standards, policies and contractual expectations
  • Plan and implement workplace health, safety and accident-prevention activities, including inspections, campaigns, competitions and employee communications; actively participate in HSE meetings, committees and related initiatives
  • Conduct regular field inspections, ergonomic assessments and workplace observations; identify gaps and risks, report findings, propose corrective actions and follow them through to closure with the relevant area owners
  • Maintain accurate daily records of medical cases, incidents, accidents and actions; keep KPIs and Safety Index records up to date, analyze sick-leave trends and provide required Occupational Health documentation to local authorities
  • Support incident and accident investigations, root-cause identification and preventive/corrective actions, while ensuring employees receive appropriate PPE based on their activities
  • Deliver and coordinate Health & Safety training for employees and visitors, maintain the training matrix, communicate weekly Toolbox Talks, keep the Emergency Plan updated and ensure employees are trained through emergency drills
  • Support HSE system requirements, including procedure and policy deployment, document and certificate maintenance, audit/record updates and technical advice on occupational health topics; contribute to budget preparation/control and submit purchase requests for required goods and services
  • Follow the company’s Food Safety Golden Rules, FSQ Policy, Good Manufacturing Practices and Personal Hygiene requirements; comply with applicable food-safety procedures and regulations, complete mandatory/refresher FSQ training, safeguard food integrity and customer safety, and report FSQ changes, suspicious acts or Food Defense/Food Fraud concerns through the required channels

What kind of profile are we looking for?

  • Diploma in General Nursing with a valid/approved Ministry of Health license
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of applicable Saudi Ministry of Health and Labor Law requirements related to occupational health and workplace safety
  • Arabic: Native proficiency
  • English: Business proficiency
  • Currently based in Jeddah or willing to relocate to Jeddah, with the ability to commute to the work location approximately 1+ hour from central Jeddah
  • Availability to work 6 days per week, with flexibility regarding working hours as required by the operation

What competencies are key to this role?

  • Strong planning, coordination and follow-up skills, with the ability to work independently, stay resourceful and collaborate effectively across HSE and operational teams
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees, contractors and stakeholders from different cultures and nationalities
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Practical understanding of occupational health, workplace safety, emergency response, accident prevention, ergonomics and employee health monitoring
  • Food manufacturing experience is considered an advantage, along with familiarity with food safety, GMP, Food Defense and Food Fraud practices
